A Lancaster man is facing a number of charges after a woman said he trapped her in a home on West Mulberry Street.
John W. Arnold, 47, was indicted on abduction, domestic violence, disrupting public service, falsification, and aggravated menacing charges.
According to the Lancaster Eagle Gazette, the woman went to the Wheeling Street Jail on June 21 looking for help.
The victim said Arnold had beaten her, tore off her clothing and sat on her chest. He also allegedly chased her with his vehicle.
When police questioned the man, they say Arnold gave a false name. They say he continued to threaten the woman as he was arrested.
Arnold is being held in the Fairfield County Jail.
