Police in Baltimore say that they have received reports of a "pushy solicitor' showing up at homes in the area.
The overly-aggressive saleswoman has already been reported in Sunbury and Pataskala.
The woman is trying to sell educational material, and authorities are concerned that residents will think the money raised will be going to local schools.
It is illegal to solicit in Baltimore without a permit, and police tell residents that they have no obligation to speak to door-to-door sales people.
Earlier this week, 10TV was told the woman worked for Southern Advantage.
A company spokesman said that often people do mistake the company's salespeople as working on behalf of a local district, but identification badges worn by sales representatives and forms given to prospective customers indicate that the company is not affiliated with a specific district.
