More showers and thunderstorms developing this afternoon and evening. Any of these storms could contain heavy rains with potential for local flooding. This unsettled pattern shows no sign of breaking down as we head through the holiday weekend. There will be a gradual warming trend over the weekend and into the early part of next week. This persistent pattern of low pressure does show signs of breaking by early next week.
