A missing Cleveland boy was found safe Monday morning, a few hours after a statewide Amber Alert was issued.
The alert was issued for a missing 8-year-old Cleveland boy around 6 a.m.
Officials said Kevin J. Criss, Jr., was taken by his non-custodial father, 34-year-old Kevin Criss.
Officials said the father is believed to be a meth addict and is paranoid with violent tendencies.He told people that he was heading to California.
Authorities said the child and suspect were located in Huron by Erie County Sheriff's deputies, according to WEWS-TV. The boy was not harmed
