Flash Flooding Hits Northeast Columbus, Central Ohio

Pop-up showers and thunderstorms are responsible for flash flooding across parts of the Columbus area Saturday evening.

Drivers are reporting high water and flash flooding on roads in the Polaris and Easton areas. Water covered East Dublin Granville Road and at the intersection of Hamilton Road and Route 161.

Motorists are warned to never pass through high water and use caution as flood waters rise near roadways.

A flash flood warning is in effect for much of Central Ohio through 11 p.m. Saturday.
