A Columbus Police helicopter was forced to the ground Thursday night.
The pilot made an emergency landing around 8:30 p.m. due to an engine light coming on.
The pilot put the helicopter down near Mill Run in Hilliard.
No injuries were reported.
Police said a warning light came on and when that happens, it's protocol to land.
The helicopter was able to fly again shortly after 11 p.m.
