Warrant Issued For Man Accused Of Causing Crash That Killed 2, Hospitalized Teen In Pike Co.

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials said that warrant was issued for a man accused of causing a fatal crash in Pike County on Monday night.

According to OSP officials, Paul Riggs is wanted on three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count of aggravated vehicular assault.

Officials said that Riggs, 30, was driving a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo traveled left of center on River Road near Meadow Run Road close to Waverly at about 7:40 p.m.

The vehicle struck another vehicle driven by 35-year-old Tina Ogier of Beaver, Ohio.

Officials said that Ogier, her unborn child, and her niece, 19-year-old passenger Mary Jane Cooper, were killed.

Helicopter medics transported a 14-year-old boy to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus

Investigators said that Riggs fled from the crash scene on foot.
