Three suspects in a forced-labor case in Ohio are due back in court to ask for release pending trial.

Last week the government asked to have the trio in the Ashland case locked up. Both sides are due back in Cleveland federal court Monday afternoon on the bond issue.

The three are charged with enslaving a mentally disabled woman for two years with her child. They allegedly threatened the mother and beat her.

Last week a pregnant co-defendant was released pending trial. Her attorney says the woman denies wrongdoing.

The mother of one defendant calls the allegations lies. An attorney for one says the woman described by the government as a victim was welcomed into their home and was allowed to come and go when she wanted.
