A land debate is heating up in Newark.
City councilman Marc Gutherie pitched an idea to sell Horn Hill Park.
He cited financial concerns for the idea and said he believes it is worth further discussion.
The 102-acre park is the city’s largest and currently contains the city’s water towers and a leased cell phone tower.
Guthrie says developers could be interested.
Other city officials said they are not sure about the proposal.
