Two women face charges for allegedly running a meth lab in Chillicothe.
Chillicothe police said detectives and officers with the Special Response Team served a warrant at a home in the 300 block of East 4th Street around 3 p.m.
Authorities said they received information that the people inside were cooking methamphetamines.
Detectives said they found an active meth lab in a bottle inside a room along with other items used to manufacture meth.
Shelly Angus was arrested and charged with failure to appear on charges of driving without consent and illegal assembly of chemicals. Sarah Kennedy was charged with illegal assembly of chemicals.
The Chillicothe Fire Department neutralized the chemicals found in the apartment.
The Ross County Grand Jury will consider additional charges.
