New dashcam video shows a young girl who darted out from behind parked cars into the street.
She was then struck by a unknowing policeman.
The incident happened around 4:30 PM on Thursday, June 13th at Pierce and Wright Avenues.
On the video, you can se the child dart from between two parked cars, right in front of the cruiser. But just moments after impact the girl was able to get up and walk away.
Neighbors said the young girl had been playing in the yard when she decided to run across the street to get some water.
Officials said the girl was taken to Nationwide Children's hospital where she was treated for several scratches and bruises.
Witnesses said the officer was driving slowly and simply did not have time to react.
After investigators reviewed the video, the policeman was not cited.
