Groveport Police Want Help Identifying Credit Card Thieves

Groveport Police released surveillance photos from two recent cases of stolen credit cards.

In both case, the stolen credits card were taken from victims in the Groveport area, and the cards were used in Columbus stores, according to Groveport Detective Mike Sturgill.

In the first case, the credit cards were stolen from the Groveport Recreation Center, located at 7370 Groveport Road.

A short time after the theft, the same man captured on surveillance video from the Groveport Recreation Center was seen in a Columbus store attempting to use the stolen cards.

In the second case, a woman who had her purse stolen had her credit cards used in the Columbus area by a man.

Anyone with information about the crimes is asked to call police at 614-830-2054.
