Two people were arrested Tuesday by the Kenton Police Department after being found with heroin.
At approximately 12:49 p.m., the Kenton Police Department received a call of reckless operation of a vehicle that was traveling south on U.S. Route 68 toward Kenton.
The vehicle, from West Virginia, was then stopped at the corner of Main and Columbus streets for a traffic violation.
A K9 unit from the Hardin County Sheriff’s office was used to search it.
Following the search of the car and the people inside the car, the driver, Justin Goble of Charleston, W. Va., was found to be in possession of heroin, police said.
He was then arrested and the vehicle was impounded from the scene.
Later Tuesday afternoon, Amanda Tyler of Charleston, W. Va., who was a passenger the car, passed out while she was sitting in the lobby of the police department.
After being attended to by medics, heroin was found to be located in her bra.
She was then taken to a hospital for evaluation, and more heroin, pills and marijuana was located following the evaluation.
Tyler was also arrested, and both individuals are being held at the Multi County Jail.
