Technology is helping the Ohio State Fair get a little greener this year.
According to The Columbus Dispatch, “Operation Shade” is in full effect on the fairgrounds.
Thanks to the Ohio EPA and the Department of Agriculture, 300 feet of new trees are growing in the middle of the blacktop near the main entrance.
The trees were planted in special plastic cells to give the soil better nutrients.
