A Columbus singer and songwriter is lending her voice to raise awareness about human trafficking.
Heather Evans and local producers have created the Sweet Princess Project.
It started as a music video to shed light on the sex slavery problem in Ohio.
Evans says it's a growing problem in Ohio and has most recently made national headlines.
"The women we saw from Cleveland, 10 years they were trapped in this situation, and that's happening here in Columbus," Evans said. "It is estimated that 1,000 girls right here in central Ohio are being trafficked. That's like a high school of people being trafficked."
The music video is set to launch next Tuesday at the Gateway Film Center.
