UPDATED: Monday June 3, 2013 1:58 PM

The Columbus Division of Police has partnered with the Columbus College of Art and Design to create an anti-bullying video.

The video will be used as a public service announcement on the Columbus Division of Police’s website in addition to other participating sites.

Both groups hope that by working together, they can change the landscape of bullying in central Ohio.

The video is titled “It Takes Courage, Columbus” and focuses on the bullying of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender (LGBT) youth. It was made to inspire hope for those young people facing harassment and to help encourage acceptance.

The Canzani Auditorium, located at 60 Cleveland Ave. on the campus of Columbus College of Art and Design, will feature the video on Friday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Columbus police are anticipating making additional videos to further efforts to combat bullying.
