The Ohio State Buckeyes will head to California for their only non-conference road game of 2013 on Sept. 14, and will take on the Golden Bears at 7 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports, the Pac-12 Conference announced on Wednesday.
The game will take place at Cal’s newly renovated Memorial Stadium and will be the second of a two-game home-and-home series between the teams.
OSU holds a 6-1 series advantage against Cal, and the two squads met last year in Ohio Stadium for the first time in 40 years.
The Buckeyes won that game 35-28 as Braxton Miller connected with Devin Smith for a 72-yard touchdown with 3:26 play and Christian Bryant recorded his first career interception on Cal’s final drive to seal the victory.
This is the fifth finalized game time for Ohio State’s 2013 season. The Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Penn State games are scheduled to start at 8 p.m., and OSU’s Homecoming game against Iowa will kick off at 3:30 p.m.
