A frontal boundary will remain stalled across the Ohio River valley Saturday night into early Sunday, which will be the main focus for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Most of central Ohio will remain dry Saturday night through Sunday with partly to mostly cloudy skies and only a slight chance for a shower. Some patchy fog will be likely late Saturday night. By late Sunday, the front will begin to drift northward bringing a slightly better chance for a pop up shower or storm into central Ohio. The front will wash out on Monday keeping most of the state dry with only a slight chance for a shower Monday into Tuesday. The heat will build across central Ohio early next week with high temperatures soaring into the middle and upper 80s. Humidity levels will also be on the increase. A strong cold front will approach central Ohio late Tuesday into Wednesday bringing with it widespread showers and storms. With the increase in heat and humidity, any storm that can develop the next few days could be strong. A greater threat for severe weather will be possible with the cold front late Tuesday into Wednesday.
