UPDATED: Friday May 17, 2013 1:55 PM

A Delaware County grand jury returned an indictment this week against a doctor accused of driving while drunk.

According to the Delaware County Prosecutor's Office, Worthington doctor Elizabeth Unk drove while drunk and struck a bicyclist who was riding along a roadway.

The alleged incident occurred on Sept. 12 along U.S. 23 and Green Meadows Drive.

Unk, 38, is charged with one count of vehicular assault and two counts of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a combination of them.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol determined that Unk's blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

Unk's driver's license has been suspended.
