A Columbus man has pleaded guilty to one count of threatening President Barack Obama.

Daniel L. Temple, 36, used Twitter to repeatedly indicate that he intended to kill the President, according to U.S. attorneys.

Secret Service agents said that Temple posted the threats from his home in Columbus and his parents' address in Westerville.

Temple could be sentenced from probation to five years in prison.

The court will conduct a pre-sentence investigation before determining the sentence.

Temple currently remains free on bond.
