Police are investigating after a COTA bus was struck by a pellet from a pellet gun Friday afternoon.
According to police, the bus was struck at Byron Avenue and East Main Street in East Columbus at about 4:30 p.m.
Police said that at the time there were reports of shots being fired in front of a carryout business on East Main Street.
No one was injured.
Police said the bus was not damaged in the shooting.
Police said they did not have anyone in custody in connection with the shooting.
