1 Injured In Shooting On Southeast Side

Police say one person was injured in a shooting on the southeast side Thursday evening.

According to police, the shooting took place in the 600 block of Hanford Street.

Officials said that James Cunningham, 21, was shot in the hip.

Police said he was taken to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities said Cunningham was involved in a fight with multiple individuals which led to the shooting.

Police said they were searching for the person responsible for the shooting.

Officers had at least one person in custody for questioning in connection with the shooting, according to 10TV News crews on the scene.
