Police were searching Tuesday morning for a driver who hit a pedestrian in North Columbus and took off.
The incident occurred at the intersection of St. Clair Avenue and East Fifth Avenue around midnight Tuesday.
Police said the victim was crossing the intersection when a vehicle struck the victim and took off.
Medics transported the victim to OSU Wexner Medical Center. Officials told 10TV the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Police were able to get a description of the vehicle. They said it was a 2000 dark-colored Chevy station wagon.
