A cold front working across the state is continuing to produce some showers this morning, mainly across southern and southeastern Ohio. Most rain should be gone by mid-morning. We’ll be noticeably cooler behind the front with highs in the 50s and low 60s today. A secondary front will head our way late in the day, bringing the chance for more scattered showers this evening. Skies will clear late night and overnight lows will fall into the upper 30s and low 40s.
Expect a breezy and cool Mothers’ Day under partly cloudy skies. Highs will top out in the mid 50s—about 15 degrees below average. Temperatures will fall into the low to mid 30s Sunday night and we could see some patchy frost develop as a result. We’ll likely stay unseasonably cool but dry Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be back around 80 by the middle of the week with a chance for a few showers Wednesday and Thursday.
Inconvenient Weather: Few showers this morning in southern Ohio with another chance for showers in central Ohio this evening.
Planning Your Day: Expect noticeably cooler weather today with more clouds than sun and a chance for showers this evening.
