Juvenile Questioned In Connection With Westerville Bomb Threats

UPDATED: Friday May 10, 2013 5:25 PM

Police said one juvenile was under arrest in connection with bomb threats found at Westerville South High School.

Officials said several threats have been found at Westerville South High School on South Otterbein Avenue.

Graffiti found inside a bathroom at the high school raised concern of a threat.

A message on Thursday read "BOMBS BY 10." The word "Bomb" was also written in pencil in a number of places on Friday.

Officials believe the tenth grader being questioned wrote Friday's message but may not be responsible for Thursday's threat.

Administrators said the boy may just be a 'copycat' - so the handwriting of the two threats is being analyzed.

A spokesman for the school says there is extra police presence Friday.

The school resource officer was immediately contacted.

Police and the school district are working to confirm if either of the threats are considered valid.
