Columbus Police say no officers were injured in a shooting on S. 17th Avenue. 10TV has a crew at the scene.
Columbus City Schools announced on Tuesday that it is hiring 300 people to drive buses for the district.
According to a news release, the district is expanding its routes for the 2013-14 school year and is hiring bus drivers as district employees.
More than 300 positions are open for people with good driving records, customer service skills and a "desire to join a stable and growing organization."
Free training is available for those without experience who want to drive buses. The training program consists of classroom and behind-the-wheel instructions, preparing bus drivers for the CDL written and road examinations.
Salaries for bus drivers start at $11 per hour.
