Law enforcement officials say they seized cash and possible stolen property as a result of a search warrant being served.

According to the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office, the Fairfield-Hocking Major Crimes Unit, assisted by the sheriff’s office and the Logan-Hocking Special Response Team, executed a search warrant at the home of John Holdren on Big Pine Road in Logan.

The warrant was executed after authorities received a tip that Holdren was trafficking heroin out of his home.

Holdren, 54, was arrested and charged with one count of trafficking in heroin and a probation violation out of the Hocking County Municipal Court.

Robert Showalter, 28, was arrested on a grand jury indictment for breaking and entering and theft. Robert Vernon, 41, was arrested on warrants for criminal trespassing, theft and contempt of court in Franklin County. Ashley Nicole Williams, 29, was arrested for failure to appear for a pre-trial for receiving stolen property and on three counts of probation violation in the Hocking County Municipal Court. Zachary Norris, 32, was arrested on a warrant on two counts of probation violation out of the Hocking County Municipal Court.

Additional charges against Holdren and Showalter were slated to be filed.

All those arrested were taken to the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail in Nelsonville.
