A Pickerington teenage girl manages to escape a Saturday afternoon house fire.
Fire crews were called to the scene around noon at a home on Rambling Brook Drive.
According to the teenager, she was upstairs in the two-story home when she heard her dog barking followed by the smoke alarms.
She quickly ran out of the house and was not harmed in the blaze.
Fire crews spent about 30 minutes getting the fire under control. The top floor was destroyed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
