Columbus Police say no officers were injured in a shooting on S. 17th Street. Get the story.
A judge set bond at $1 million for the man accused in a deadly stabbing earlier this week.
Richard Cochran is accused of killing Anthony St. Clair Monday night.
St. Clair drove himself to Ohio State University Hospital East after being stabbed in the chest. He died almost an hour later.
Police said that Cochran implicated himself in the killing during questioning at a Clifton Court Apartment. Cochran said he was defending himself from St. Clair when he stabbed him.
Investigators requested a high bond for Cochran, saying he has a long criminal history, including two aggravated robbery convictions.
The high bond was also requested because Cochran allegedly told police that if he knew St. Clair had died, he would not have stayed in Columbus.
