Fire and police officials say that a hazardous material found at the DSCC Operations Center in east Columbus was not harmful.
Columbus Fire officials, along with Whitehall officials, were called to the operations center on Tuesday.
Employees were evacuated from the fourth and fifth floors of the building after the discovery and during the testing of the substance.
Officials did not immediately release details of what the harmless substance was.
