A boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert Wednesday morning has been found safe, but the search for the man who allegedly took him continues.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol issued the Amber Alert after they said a man took 4-year-old Andrian Johnson.

Johnson was found safe around 6:30 a.m.

Police were still looking Wednesday night for the man who allegedly took the child at gunpoint from 930 Ellsworth Ave. According to police, Andrian's mother was hospitalized after jumping from a window to escape.

Antone D. Jones, 29, has been named as the suspect.

Special Victims Bureau detectives filed charges against Jones that include one count of kidnapping.

Officials said that additional charges could be filed once Jones is in custody.

In addition to the kidnapping charge, Jones has active warrants for driving without an operator’s license, two counts of domestic violence, two counts of assault and one count of burglary.

Jones is described as 6-foot, 1-inches tall, African-American with black hair, brown eyes, a moustache and glasses.

Jones was believed to be in a 2000 black Cadillac DeVille with Ohio license plate FDL 7217.

Police found that car around 9 p.m. Wednesday in northeast Columbus on Indigo Way.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call the Ohio State Highway Patrol or Columbus Police.
