3 Charged For Allegedly Stealing Railroad Tie-Down Plates

Three men are charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing equipment from a railroad.

According to court documents, Matthew Shortland, Marcus Niemela and John Gallicchio are charged after they allegedly took $2,800 worth of railroad tie-down plates from the Norfolk Southern Railroad.

The alleged theft occurred on Sunday evening.

All three were jailed on Tuesday on $5,000 bond each.
