Columbus Police say no officers were injured in a shooting on S. 17th Avenue. 10TV has a crew at the scene.
Police said they took three people into custody in connection with an armed robbery Monday morning.
Two people were taken into custody as of 2 p.m. The third was taken into custody at about 3:30 p.m.
Indian Springs Elem, Colerain Elem., Dominion MS., Brookhaven HS, Northtown Elem. and Maize Rd. Elm. were locked down because of the search for the suspect. The lockdowns were lifted at about 2:30 p.m.
Detectives said that the chase started out of a home invasion and robbery in the 5600 of Beechcroft Road. They said a woman was home with her 3-year-old child when the men, claiming to be meat salesmen, came inside.
They demanded money and fired a shot into the floor, detectives said.
A male homeowner confronted the man and chased them and eventually tracked down police.
Police said the suspects who were being followed by police bailed from their vehicle in the 800 Marland Drive.
Police said the suspects fled on foot around East Cooke Road and Glenmawr Avenue.
The third suspect was found hiding under a porch.
The names and charges against those involved were not immediately released.
Police said they believed at least one shot was fired during the initial robbery.
