A man was rushed to Riverside Hospital early Sunday morning after being shot in North Columbus.
The shooting happened on Schrock and Karl Roads around 2 a.m. Police say 37-year-old George Peterson was driving his car when someone stepped out into the street and began firing shots. Peterson was hit twice in the left arm. He then crashed into a parked car.
Police say that is when the suspect ran away. Peterson's injuries do not appear life-threatening.
