An Olentangy Local School board member said he has filed a lawsuit against the other four members of the board for allegedly violating Ohio's open meetings law.
Board member Adam White said that the other four members met privately on October 12 to discuss a campaign to promote a new policy that forbids the board from communicating with school staff without approval from the superintendent or treasurer.
White said the lawsuit is not about money, it’s about forcing the other board members to follow the law.
10TV reached out to the school board president, but he was not immediately available for comment.
