Firefighter, Resident Transported With Injuries From North Columbus Fire

Fire crews worked to knock down flames at a home along Cleveland Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Columbus fire officials, the fire sparked at a home near the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Agler Road shortly after 3 p.m.

Two people, including a firefighter, were transported with injuries. One resident was being treated for smoke inhalation, and a firefighter suffered minor burns.

Cleveland Avenue was blocked while crews battled the flames.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
