Marion authorities announced that they arrested a pregnant mother of two children for alleged drug trafficking.
A search warrant was served at a home at 212 Clover Avenue just before 8 p.m. Thursday night.
Nicole Freeman, 24, was charged with trafficking heroin, possessing heroin and two counts of child endangering.
Members of the MARMET Drug Task Force said they seized 158 bundles of heroin. Those drugs have a street value of $3,160.
“This case is especially upsetting because children were present during the drugs sale and the heroin was within reach of the children," said Lt. Chris Adkins.
Authorities said Freeman's children were placed with a family member.
