Man Arrested After Authorities Find Drug Lab, Alligator At House

Drug task force officials in Mansfield arrested a man who was already on probation.

The METRICH Drug Task Force and officials from the Mansfield City Probation Department, served a search warrant at a home along Bradford Avenue after a probation officer became suspicious about drug activity.

Officers observed drug paraphernalia and drug-making materials in plain sight, as well as a small alligator, according to a METRICH Task Force news release.

A lab located in the attic of the house was also set up to manufacture synthetic marijuana.

Blake Yoxhiemer was arrested for a probation violation. Additional misdemeanor and felony charges were expected to be brought against him.

The alligator was released to the humane society.

Detectives said they were looking for several other people in connection with the drugs.
