Thunderstorms Continue Wednesday Night, More Showers Tomorrow

Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some may be severe.  High: 73
Friday:
A chance for morning showers. Otherwise mostly cloudy and much cooler. High: 56
 
Special Information:
Scattered thunderstorms will remain possible tonight, some with locally heavy rain and frequent lightning. However the threat for severe weather has diminished for the night. Temperatures will remain mild overnight with lows holding to near 60 degrees. The chance for thunderstorms will continue into Thursday as a cold front moves into the state. Some storms on Thursday could be strong or severe with damaging winds, large hail. An isolated tornado is also possible, although the threat is low. High temperatures will reach into the low 70's Thursday before falling late Thursday night into Friday behind the cold front. Highs on Friday will only be in the 50's under mostly cloudy skies. A few light showers will be possible Friday morning with clearing skies Friday night. Temperatures will moderate with sunshine back in the forecast for the weekend.
 
Alerts :  Numerous flood advisories are in effect for counties in our northern viewing area, north of I-70.
 
Inconvenient Weather:  Scattered thunderstorms will be likely tonight. The threat for severe storms will return on Thursday. Some localized flooding will also be possible.
