Traffic Stop Yields Marijuana, LSD, Ecstasy

Two men were arrested on drug charges Saturday after a traffic stop.

According to the Athens County Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped a vehicle along New England Road and confiscated illegal drugs.

The vehicle was stopped for driving left of center on state Route 329.

A canine officer searched the vehicle and found multiple bags of marijuana, five hits of LSD and digital scales. A bottle of Advil also was discovered with 102 capsules of Ecstasy.

Jeremy Bishop, 38, was charged with trafficking of drugs, and 30-year-old Alex Hunter was charged with aggravated possession of drugs.

Both were taken to the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail.
