Crews responded to a fire in Northeast Columbus around 6 A.M. Saturday morning.
Flames broke out at a home on Leather Stocking Trail near Morse and Cherry Bottom Roads.
Investigators said the fire appeared to break out in a basement utility room.
Firefighters said they were sifting through debris to find an exact cause, but do not believe the fire was suspicious.
Fire officials estimated the damage to be around $50,000.
There were no injuries, but the residents were displaced. The Red Cross is helping the residents.
