The Liberty Township Fire Chief expected a fire at a warehouse to burn until Thursday morning.
One firefighter suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to Adena Medical Center. He is expected to be okay.
According to the Ross County Sheriff's Office, the fire was reported shortly before 3 p.m. at the Schooley Station Industrial Park, located in the 1400 block of Lancaster Road.
Crews said that no fire hydrants were in the area, so takers were filling up at a local high school.
Fire officials on scene said that they could not use water from a nearby water tower because it was undergoing tests
A bulldozer was brought in to help move paper to stop it from fueling the fire.
"It's just self igniting because its hot and no air is getting to it." said Fire Chief Kent Leach of the Liberty Township Fire Department. "So it's just sitting there smoldering. We're probably going to have to remove every bit of paper out of the building just to get it all the way extinguished."
As many as 13 departments and 60 firefighters worked to extinguish flames.
