Man Arrested On COTA Bus After Allegedly Robbing Bank

Police said they have a man in custody after an alleged bank robbery.

According to Upper Arlington police, a man robbed the Key Bank, located at 1933 Henderson Road, and then left the bank and attempted to get into a waiting vehicle driven by another man.

As the man, identified by police as Larry Edward Troutman, 29, was getting into the vehicle, a dye pack exploded, and Troutman ran from the scene.

The vehicle, described as a white, four-door Buick also fled, heading westbound on Henderson Road.

A short time later, a witness saw Troutman getting onto a COTA bus and notified authorities.

Police arrested Troutman without incident. Police said that money from the robbery was found with him and he was positively identified by a witness.
