2 Adults Charged In Circleville Riot Held On $500,000 Bond, Allowed To Attend Funeral

UPDATED: Tuesday April 2, 2013 12:54 PM

Two adults arrested on Monday in connection with a riot appeared in court on Tuesday.

Twenty-six-year-old Daniel Isaiah Harris and 18-year-old Angel Marie Haines are each charged with aggravated rioting.

A judge set bond for each of them at $500,000 but granted them a furlough to attend the funeral for 21-year-old Brittany Jeffers, who died after the riot that took place March 27.

Harris is Jeffers’ uncle, and Haines is Jeffers’ half-sister.

A grand jury will decide next week whether charges will stick.

Cameron Eby, 20, and Nicole Leasure, 37, who are also charged with aggravated riot, are still jailed on $500,000 bond, which a judge set on Friday.

Two 17 year olds, Brandon Bolin and Keely Martin, Leasure’s daughter, also are charged and were ordered to be detained until their next court hearing.

Two additional juveniles, who 10TV News did not immediately name, also were issued summons to appear in court on Tuesday.

Police say the large argument stemmed from an attempted burglary report at a neighbor's house. Loved ones say Jeffers was beaten and stomped for no reason.
