A 16 year old was arrested after allegedly robbing a pizza driver Friday.

The 43-year-old driver said he was delivering an order for Ohio State Pizza when the teen with a handgun attempted to rob him.

The alleged attack happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of East 14th Avenue.

The victim, identified as "Frank," said he scuffled with the teen who fired two gunshots and missed.

The driver said he ran after the 16-year-old teenager who dropped the gun nearby. Police tracked down the teenager using his own cellphone.

"When he realized he was outmatched, he started yelling I'm 16! I'm 16, at which point I let him go. I ended up taking his cellphone, his shoes and his pants so police could identify him easily," Frank said.

The teen was taken into custody by the Columbus Division of Police.
