UPDATED: Monday April 1, 2013 4:21 PM

The driver behind a crash that led to the death of a Bexley teacher has been sentenced to five year of community control.

Bowles attorney Thomas F. Martello Jr. said the man will also be documented with a mental illness and must comply with his medication treatment or he could be found in violation of community control and serve 60 months in prison.

He was also ordered to pay $15,000 in court costs and restitution

Eric Bowles was found guilty of aggravated vehicular homicide earlier this year for the March 15, 201, crash that killed teacher Molly Davis.
