A mother faces drug charges after police found cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash inside of her Chillicothe home early Monday.
According to the Chillicothe Police Department, the department’s Special Response Team and detectives executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of Water Street at 6 a.m. Monday.
Officers said they found cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash inside of the residence.
Detectives said they contacted the resident, Marka Retherford, and her 6-year-old child.
The 26-year-old mother was arrested on trafficking of cocaine and child endangerment charges.
Children Services was contacted, and the child was released into the custody of a family member.
