Police are investigating whether alcohol played a role in a Thursday morning car crash in New Albany.
The accident happened around 5 a.m. on state Route 161 near Kitzmiller Road.
The driver reportedly drove her car off the road and into a fence.
The car suffered significant damage and the airbag was deployed.
Police gave the driver a field sobriety test.
No word yet on whether police will file charges against the driver.
