Highway Patrol Opening Sub-Post In Perry County

UPDATED: Wednesday March 27, 2013 6:57 PM

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is adding a new post in Perry County.

It will be on West Brown Street in New Lexington and serve as a sub-post of the Lancaster branch.

It will not be staffed, but the patrol said the property will be stocked with computers and supplies, so troopers can use as necessary.

It will open April 1.

Perry County is currently one of 31 counties without an OHP post.
