Band Director Charged With Alleged Sex Crimes Against Students Suspended Without Pay

A Logan County high school teacher accused of sex crimes against students is now suspended without pay.

John Timothy Shook has been on paid administrative leave since allegations surfaced last month.

Shook pleaded not guilty to rape and sexual battery charges.

Shook, 34, faces one count of rape, five counts of sexual battery, one count of sexual battery and five counts of gross sexual imposition.

The charges involve two female students at Riverside High School in Logan County.
